HVAC-R SERVICE TECHNICIANS
Immediate openings! We are seeking HVAC-R Service Technicians who live in FL, TN, SC, NC, GA, AL or those who want to relocate to these areas. Our field technicians provide diagnostics, service, repair, maintenance & installation for various brands of light commercial HVAC and Refrigeration equipment. Our clients are primarily retailers with package units or split systems and reach in/ walk in coolers & freezers. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Service, Repair, Maintenance & Installation of HVAC & Refrigeration equipment. Support is provided when needed, however, service technicians are expected to perform duties independently with minimal supervision required. Technician will be expected to review each work order & perform any necessary tasks, troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, maintenance or installation associated with resolving the service issue &/or fulfilling the scope of work.
- Access customer equipment safely with company provided ladders or lifts or on site accesses.
- Use Company provided technology including Android tablet, cell phone & applications to provide job status, job site & equipment photos, work order notes & work scope performed as well as forms & reference resources.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to perform after hours service to clients. Technicians are on-call for 1 week at a time from Monday through Sunday. Frequency of rotation & scheduling is coordinated through your service manager.
- Possess OSHA 10 hour training certification. Technicians who do not have the OSHA 10 hour training will be required to complete the course. This training is conducted on company provided computer & paid at the standard hourly wage.
- Use trade tools necessary to perform duties associated with assigned work.
- Obtain purchase orders &/or order parts & materials needed to perform work
- Communicate with co-workers, supervisors, other trade providers, contractors & suppliers via company provided phone & email & check phone & email during scheduled hours for timely response/reply to communications.
- Use customer portals, apps & call centers to check in & out of jobs.
- Professionally communicate, coordinate, plan & schedule work with Client on site personnel, other contractors/trades or suppliers.
- Perform duties responsibly & in accordance with company policies, industry best practices & safety guidelines.
- Seek advice, council or support when needed to ensure proper performance of duties.
- Responsibly care for company issued vehicle & materials & notify supervisor of any maintenance, repair or support needed.
- Other tasks consistent with the role of HVAC-R service technician.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as an HVAC Service Technician and/or Installer.
- General knowledge in diagnosing and servicing major brands of light Commercial Heating & Air Conditioning equipment. Knowledge in diagnosing and servicing major brands of Reach in Coolers/Freezers and Walk in Coolers/Freezers is a plus, but is not required.
- Live in or willing to relocate to Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina or South Carolina.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- EPA Certification
- Clear MVR (7 year MVR)
- Criminal Background Check

Additional Skills/Experience (a plus, but not required):
- Refrigeration experience is not required but is a plus
- 10 Hour OSHA Certification is a plus
- National Accounts experience a plus

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls
- Monitor Billing Email for Invoice and/or Update Requests from Clients as well as emails from Company personnel.
- Reconciling Labor, Material and “Other” job costs in company software
- Reviewing Service History and Notes to determine billable work vs warranty work
- Monitor Invoicing Deadlines for Clients and Ensure timely delivery of invoices
- Facilitate Client Authorization for work outside of scope or NTE with Account Manager or with Client directly
- Update & Submit Client forms, service notes, via email or web portal
- Create and Submit invoices to Clients with required back up documentation via email, mail or web portal upload.
- Create and Submit accounting statements to Clients and follow up on aged invoices each month.

- Create, Maintain & Submit Company and Customer Reports, Lists and Logs for various topics at varied frequency

PARTS ADVISOR
We are seeking a full time Parts Advisor to assist our technicians and Service Managers. This key role in our company will provide support and assistance to service technicians and service management via phone and email in identifying, sourcing and ordering parts and supplies for HVAC and Refrigeration jobs. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Phone and email support for field technicians and service management.
- Utilize industry data – including equipment manuals, manufacturer websites, etc. to research and identify part numbers and pricing for HVAC & Refrigeration parts and components across approved supplier network
- Complete purchase orders and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Order parts from suppliers/vendors.
- Follow up on order fulfillment and delivery status.
- Relay order status and delivery information to service management.
- Maintain part order records in company software.
- Assist with additional supplier, material and inventory duties as needed.
Experience:
- Strong background in HVAC/R (former technicians and supply house counter personnel are welcome).
- Proficient computer skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
